The faculty of Science & Engineering (FSE) of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) is set to host a vibrant Tech Fest-2023 at its own campus.in Kumira, Chittagong on September 23, 2023. A competition titled Inter University Mobile Games and Apps Development Competition will take place as part of IIUC Tech Fest 2023. Students of IIUC and other universities are invited to participate in this competition.

Event Details:

Competition Date: September 23, 2023.
Time: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
Venue: IIUC Campus, Kumira, Chittagong.
Registration Fee: 1200 BDT/Team
Registration Deadline: September 21, 2023.
The participants are requested to submit their ready project (Mobile Games and Apps/Software/Web Apps) description in PDF or PPT within the deadline [September 21, 2023] to nadibhasan@iiuc.ac.bd

PRIZES:

• Winning Team: 10,000 BDT
• 1st Runner-Up: 6,000 BDT
• 2nd Runner-Up: 4,000 BDT
• In addition to the cash prizes mentioned earlier, all winners will receive commemorative crest.
• Each participant will be provided with event-specific kits [T-shirt, Pen and Pad].
• Both winners and participants will receive certificates as recognition of their achievements and participation.
• The event will be followed by a delicious lunch.

Inter University Mobile Games and Apps Development Competition Event Rules and Regulations:

1. Eligibility:
- • Participants must be currently enrolled students (Undergraduate) at a university.
- • Participants must bring a university-valid ID card or recommendation from the respective department head and be well dressed up.
- • Teams can consist of a maximum of three [3] members.
- • All team members are required to belong to the same gender.
2. Project Requirements:
- • Each team must have a ready mobile game or application within the specified guidelines.
- • The project must be original, and any use of copyrighted material must be properly cited.
- • Projects description or workflow must be submitted in the required format (pdf or ppt) by the specified deadline.
3. Presentation:
- • Teams will have a designated time slot to present and demonstrate their project to the judges.
- • Presentations should include an overview, features, functionality, and the problem the project addresses.
4. Judging Criteria:
- • Projects will be evaluated based on creativity, functionality, user experience, and adherence to the theme or guidelines.
- • Judges' decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Code of Conduct:
- • All participants must adhere to a code of conduct, promoting respectful and ethical behavior throughout the event.
- • Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or dishonesty will result in disqualification.
- • You are solely allowed to showcase your work.
6. Intellectual Property:
- • Participants retain ownership of their projects but may be required to grant event organizers certain rights to showcase their work.
7. Resources:
- • Teams are responsible for their own equipment and resources required for development.
8. Disqualification:
- • Teams may be disqualified for failing to meet deadlines, violating rules, or engaging in misconduct.
